Privacy

Last updated: 23 September 2026.

This describes what Videsify actually stores, not what a policy generator thinks a directory might store. If something here does not match what the site does, that is a bug — tell us, and we will fix one or the other.

What we hold

Email

Two different things, kept apart on purpose. Account email — a sign-in link, an enquiry you received, your listing going live — answers something you did, and is sent whatever your settings say. Update email — new vendors, occasional news — is sent only if you ticked the box, which starts unticked and can be changed at any time in Profile & settings. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click without signing in, as well as the header your mail app uses for its own unsubscribe button.

What we do not do

We do not sell your details. We do not hand the vendor list to anyone who wants to market to them. We run no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts and no cross-site profiling. Sponsored ads on Videsify are sold and served by us: the advertiser learns how many people saw the ad, never who they were.

Cookies and local storage

Where it lives

In a Postgres database hosted by Supabase in the United States. The site itself runs on Vercel. Photos are in Supabase storage. Email is sent through our own mailbox at our domain host. Payments, when you make one, are handled by Stripe — card numbers never reach us.

How long we keep it

Your choices

Children

Videsify is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

When this changes in a way that matters, the date above changes, and you are asked to agree again the next time you save your profile. We keep the date and the version of what you agreed to, so a later change never rewrites what you accepted earlier.
